The game was played in the right spirits.

Manjeet and Gurpreet batted superbly for Ventura, but unfortunately both were out in space of 5 balls. Rest of the batsmen were not effective on a slow pitch.

SDCC2 started disastrously with Raju back in the pavilion in the 1st over. Vishal and Jitu batted positively and played their shots. They had a partnership of 50 runs in 6 overs, before Vishal was out caught behind. Kumar went in at No. 4 and batted again positively with Jitu sharing a 55 runs partnership. Fanil was promoted up the order and he and Jitu ensured the Win for SDCC2 with a 36 runs unbeaten partnership. Jitu master classed the chase with his 1st 50 of the season after scoring 4 40s. Very well played Jitu!

With this game, SDCC2 has ended 3rd in the division. Kudos to this young team! Very well played and keep the heads high!
