Pasadena 2 eked out a narrow victory over Cal-Bel to remain at top of the division.

Winning the toss, P2 elected to field and invited Cal-Bel to bat first. Some tight initial spell saw Cal-Bel struggling for runs. However, dropped catches and a high number of wides allowed Cal-Bel to score 127 after 40 overs. Mahmood Khan, Zia Ahmad and Mansoor Ali were the pick of the bowlers.

Chasing a target of 127, P2 lost wickets at regular intervals and made the game tougher on themselves. Some rear guard action from Amin and Mahmood allowed P2 win by 1 wicket in the last over of the match. Parijat Bhide played sensibly at the top of the innings to weather out the storm.

Umpiring from Rohan and Westwood was very good.
