Guy Guyadeen was born on July 22, 1953 in South Trinidad, West Indies.

He came to the States at the age of 17 in 1970 and settled in Philadelphia PA., where he studied and became a certified Radiologic Technologist. Shortly after marrying Catherine, on July 31st 1976, they relocated to Southern California.

He worked in the Health care Industry until his death on Monday September 23, 2019. He was also an active cricketer and played in SCCA in 80's and 90's.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy, his 5 children (Guy, Rebecca, Sarah, Matthew and David), step-brother Dahnraj, nephew Christopher, his sons-in-law Chris and Derek, his daughter-in-law Julia, his grandsons Jude, Miles, and Rowan, as well as countless other family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life Trini-Fete on Saturday October 19th 1pm to 5pm at:

We’re asking that people PLEASE RSVP to the event, since we’ll be trying to provide enough refreshments. The permit I’ve obtained for the park allows for food, alcohol, and music so if anyone wants to bring their own, they are more than welcome to.

Thank you very much for your kindness and honoring of our beloved.

Best,
Rebecca Barnes (Guyadeen)
